Shailendra Tiwari: had completed his M.A in English literature and has been a part of the literary circuit of Uttarakhand for a long time. Some of the plays written by the author are: Sadhunam Chetrapal, Jeetu Bagdwal, Ranu Raut etc. He currently works for the education department Uttarakhand.

Kanta Ghildiyal: One of the few female writers in Uttarakhand Kanta Ghildiyal has written a lot of books about Uttarakhand and its culture. She has done M.A in English Literature and is actively involved in the dramatics and other fields of the Uttarakhand culture.
