About the author:
Born in Sankri village of Chamoli district on 10 April 1955, Jai Singh Rawat started his education from the local village school and carried on to study English literature in the DAV College Dehradun. He started his journey in the field of Journalism in 1978 joining the Himanchal times and later on the PTI. After that there was no looking back and he worked for many newspapers, journals and also for various News television channels.
