About Sureeli – The Pahadi Doll
Sureeli is the fearless, strong woman residing in the majestic hills of Uttarakhand. She is a celebration of the beautiful spirit of the very hard working pahadi woman.
Made out of ‘Bhimal’, a local grass and upcycled waste fabric, each doll is handcrafted with love by a small community of local women who are exploring a new source of livelihood, by expressing themselves through her. Sureeli carries the essence of these lovely women.
